I have been a district coordinator for Neighborhood Watch in my city for 11 years. We have the most active neighborhood watch program in the country. I am a certified community emergency response team member. I work with my condo neighbors once a month cleaning up our shared property. I am a P.T. volunteer for a community fitness program-doing free fitness evals and exericse instruction. I join into every community effort that comes along that I have the energy for. I believe in community.

After many years of working with non profits in the US, I founded CPASGhana in 2011. It is an NGO in Ghana. We are working to create sustainable development in the Akuapim South district. Currently we are providing entrepreneurial training and microfinance services to women who are sellers in the marketplace, so they can grow their businesses. In addition we have launched a new program sponsoring girls in two local primary schools, providing them with uniforms and school books. I have found that no matter where in the world we live we all want the same basic things; health, education, housing, clean water and caring community and family.

Living in France although being Dutch, we have committed together with some friends a living room meditation circle, for each Sunday evening 8 pm. It started in the Netherlands with one living room meditation group and it has grown into more then 370 groups in a few weeks, you can see what the intentions are on http://www.stadsverlichting.nu , also available in English. We want to create places where people can be together to meditate but also share their needs and ideas, our is international ( French, English ,Dutch)
